About this Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship in bank sales at R+V Insurance in Berlin, starting on 1 August 2027. You work closely with Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken and learn to advise customers on insurance, planning for the future and financial investments. Training normally lasts 2.5 years and can be shortened to 2 years if your performance meets the requirements.
What You'll Learn
- Combine classroom learning and practical work: work as part of the sales team in Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken branches and build your knowledge at GenoKolleg in Münster
- Understand insurance: learn about the company's insurance and financial products and see how real customers are advised
- Work in a team: prepare for customer meetings, handle follow-up work, prepare quotes and help the team finalise contracts
Requirements
- Intermediate secondary school certificate or a qualification for entry to university or a university of applied sciences
- Curiosity and an interest in advising people and business topics
- Motivation to learn new things
- A driving licence by the start of training
- Also welcome: people who have realised during their current university studies that they would prefer a new challenge with practical training
What R+V Versicherung offers
- Fixed training pay: €1,455 a month in the first year, €1,532 in the second and €1,620 in the third, plus holiday and Christmas bonuses totalling two months of pay
- Training that develops your skills: a well organised programme, mentoring, internal training and support for your development
- Training normally lasts 2.5 years. It can be shortened to 2 years if your performance meets the requirements
- Financial support: contributions to savings plans, help with learning materials, and contributions to travel or rent depending on the distance to the vocational school
- Modern equipment and working conditions: 30 days of holiday, days off on 24 and 31 December, the latest iPhone and a laptop, and a 38 hour working week under the pay agreement
- Fitness benefits: partnerships with EGYM WELLPASS and Benefits.me, workplace health support and health programmes from R+V's company health insurance fund
