About this Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship in bank sales with R+V Insurance in the Hamm region starting on 1 August 2027. You work with Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken and learn to advise customers on insurance, planning for the future and financial investments. Training normally lasts 2.5 years and can be shortened to 2 years if your performance meets the requirements.
What You'll Learn
- Combine theory and practice: Work as part of the sales team in Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken branches and expand your knowledge at GenoKolleg in Münster.
- Understand insurance: Learn about our insurance and financial products and see how advice is given to real customers.
- Work in a team: Prepare and follow up on customer advice meetings, create quotes and help the team conclude contracts.
Requirements
- An intermediate secondary school leaving certificate or a qualification for university or university of applied sciences entry
- Curiosity and enjoyment of advising people and learning about business topics
- Motivation to learn new things
- A driving licence by the start of training
- Also welcome: applicants who have realised during their current university studies that they would prefer a new challenge with more practical work
What R+V Versicherung offers
- Fixed training pay: €1,455 per month in the first year, €1,532 in the second and €1,620 in the third, plus holiday and Christmas payments totalling two months of pay.
- Support for your development: Well-organised training, a mentoring programme, and internal training and talent development.
- Training normally lasts 2.5 years. If your performance meets the requirements, you can shorten it to 2 years.
- Financial support: Contributions to a savings plan, a learning materials allowance, and help with travel or rent costs depending on the distance to your vocational school.
- A modern workplace: 30 days of holiday, days off on 24 and 31 December, the latest iPhone and a notebook computer, and a 38-hour working week under the pay agreement.
- Fitness support: Partnerships with EGYM WELLPASS and Benefits.me, workplace health support, and health programmes from the R+V company health insurance fund.
