About this Apprenticeship

As a Business Analyst in R+V's personal insurance division in Wiesbaden, you will develop health insurance solutions within an agile team. The work focuses on health, income protection and longevity, providing fair, transparent and reliable cover.

What You'll Learn

Work within the Agile Release Train as part of an agile team, advancing solutions for the health business and helping continuously improve processes and standards.
Act as a subject expert on a range of health insurance topics, from new product ideas and the digitisation and automation of processes to implementing regulatory requirements, while keeping system connections in view.
Analyse and organise business requirements, develop workable concepts and clarify acceptance criteria and priorities.
Define test cases, build and maintain highly automated tests in the CI pipeline, and test business and technical scenarios.
Work closely with your team, other ART teams and external IT service providers, coordinate deliverables and releases, and encourage open, trusting cooperation.

Requirements

A completed degree in computer science, business informatics or engineering, or vocational training in IT; alternatively, an equivalent qualification gained through relevant professional or project experience.
Practical experience in the technical administration of health insurance policies and a good technical understanding, including product modelling, claims management and policy administration.
Ideally, experience with policy administration or claims systems at a private health insurer and the ability to handle technical policy changes from application through to claims management.
Experience in one of the following areas is desirable: connecting surrounding systems such as SAP Partner, commission, incoming and outgoing payments, workflow, printing and archiving, sales, datastore and operational interfaces; working with document systems from specification to development.
Enjoy working in an agile team, demonstrate a strong team focus and communicate confidently with relevant teams and contacts.
Good spoken and written German and English skills (at least B2-C1).
