Underwriter Reinsurance Credit/Surety - Credit, Surety & CPRI with Focus on Italy

• With an eye for important details, you create meaningful market, customer and competitor analyses.
• In key account management for our Italian customers and business partners, you are responsible for business planning, customer visits, representation and carrying out marketing measures.
• You check offers carefully and clarify open questions with customers and brokers.
• You also carefully review coverage scopes and statistics.
• During the underwriting process you coordinate closely with internal teams and make well-founded underwriting decisions.
• After further onboarding and qualification, you will take over profit-oriented management of the reinsurance business.
• If needed, you contribute to special and project tasks.

• A completed degree in business or economics or a comparable qualification, plus strong economic and quantitative understanding.
• Several years of relevant experience in underwriting, credit analysis or credit or risk management, ideally related to credit insurance, surety or CPRI. Your experience can come from reinsurance, a primary insurer, a bank or a comparable market participant.
• You analyze complex portfolio, market and customer information, condense it into well-founded assessments and derive clear decisions and recommendations.
• An independent, structured and reliable way of working; you keep an overview even with parallel demands.
• For looking after the Italian market you have very good Italian skills. You also communicate confidently in German and English, each at least at C1 level.
• You combine empathy, cooperation and communication skills with willingness to make decisions and take responsibility.
• A strong willingness to travel rounds off your profile.
