Insurance and Finance Clerk - Health Insurance Claims Customer Advisor

At R+V, one of Germany's largest insurers, you handle health insurance benefit cases in the Personen division.

• Check and process incoming benefit documents and handle correspondence and phone enquiries; request information when unclear, involve experts and manage the clarification process.
• Pay out benefits within existing authority and submit cases to a higher authority for payout where needed.
• Grant commitments and submit a reasoned decision proposal to a higher authority in doubtful cases.
• Check other employees' cases as part of quality assurance and IKS measures, if you have the authority level.
• Handle customer complaints and temporary or permanent special tasks, e.g. test tasks or work in specialist working groups.

• You have training as an insurance and finance clerk (m/f/d), ideally focused on health insurance, or comparable training.
• You have sound medical knowledge, health insurance knowledge and sound knowledge of insurance and contract law.
• Knowledge of R+V products/tariffs and insurance medicine is desirable, as is knowledge of IT applications for customer-oriented telephone work.
• Self-organisation, strong social and communication skills and an independent, structured way of working round off your profile.
