Claims Handler Motor Claims Abroad

R+V is one of the largest insurers in Germany. In the Composite Insurance division, R+V offers needs-based, innovative and service-oriented products and services, including claims handling. You will settle international motor liability claims.

• You settle international motor liability claims independently and solution-oriented, including cases under the Internal Regulations and the EU motor liability directive as well as claims on behalf of the Verkehrsopferhilfe (VOH)
• You communicate with foreign companies, businesses and other parties to accidents in writing and by phone, also in English
• Even in demanding negotiations you keep an overview and find constructive solutions
• For property and personal injury claims you keep in view the interests of the foreign partner companies and proper settlement
• You advise customers and injured parties on motor claims with an international aspect competently, clearly and service-oriented

• Completed training as an insurance and financial investment clerk (m/f/d), a completed law degree or a comparable qualification, plus several years of experience handling motor liability claims
• Good knowledge of compensation law, ideally with an international focus
• Structured way of working, confident negotiation and high commitment
• Take responsibility and actively contribute to a strong team culture
• Very confident communication in English, spoken and written; other foreign languages are a plus
