Business Consultant Data Management Technical Architecture Property and Casualty Insurance

In R+V's property and casualty insurance division, you analyze data holdings, help shape the data architecture and develop data products for internal customers.

• You analyze complex data holdings and develop reliable decision bases for management from them. You actively help shape a sustainable, scalable data architecture and ensure its further development.
• You make data and insights tangible and are responsible for the entire process from data preparation to developing sophisticated data products for internal customers.
• You contribute significantly to our success by living our high quality standards, valuing variety and using the autonomy given to you to implement solutions effectively.
• You work closely with internal departments, product and sales areas, understand their questions and translate them into sound concepts and efficient data solutions.
• You coordinate with IT on data sources, interfaces and technical conditions, contribute to the further development of the data warehouse and support the implementation of new reporting and analysis functions.

• Completed degree in (business) informatics, engineering, or IT vocational training, alternatively a comparable qualification through relevant professional and project experience.
• You have professional experience in data analysis or data science, ideally in the insurance or finance sector, and know the typical key figures, products and processes.
• Very good knowledge of SQL and experience in a programming language such as Python or R, confident handling of databases and common analysis and reporting tools.
• You work in a structured way, are a strong communicator and keep an overview even with parallel projects, including clean documentation and presentation of results.
• Experience in data warehouse development, familiarity with multidimensional data models and an understanding of modern data platforms and ETL/ELT processes.
• Good German skills in speaking and writing (at least B2-C1).
