About this Apprenticeship

Let's go new ways together! Welcome to the People division of R+V, one of the largest insurers in Germany. You are part of an agile team in the Agile Release Train GLU.

What You'll Learn

You are part of an agile team in the Agile Release Train (ART) GLU (Gesundheit Liquidität United).
In your role, together with the team you are responsible for integrating the standard policy management system (ReSy from ConVista AG) into R+V's application landscape and implementing requirements of the liquidity business area.
With your strong analytical skills you structure the business area's technical requirements and find sustainable concepts, which you independently formulate in the integration adapters or as requirements for the further development of the peripheral systems.
You define test cases and ensure a high degree of test automation.
In your role you work closely with your team, other ART teams as well as other ARTs and with external IT service providers.

Requirements

You have a degree in mathematics, (business) informatics or comparable training
You bring very sound knowledge of handling / integrating / maintaining and further developing policy management systems
Experience with technical contract changes in life insurance, ideally from "application to benefit"
Experience connecting policy management systems to at least two typical peripheral systems (SAP business partner, commission, incoming/outgoing payments as well as workflow, printing/archive, sales, datastore, document systems, operational processing interfaces)
Ideally experience with the possibilities or use of supplementary tools / applications as well as customizing system components.
Strong team orientation and enjoyment of working independently in an agile team
Very good, pronounced technical understanding
