Apprenticeship as a Social Insurance Specialist

Apprenticeship at SBK focused on advising customers within the healthcare system. The role combines customer contact, healthcare, legal and economic topics, and the development of digital solutions for customer advice.

Supporting and advising customers by telephone, in person, and in writing throughout the healthcare system; acting as a link between insured persons, doctors, hospitals, employers, and authorities; checking benefit entitlements, calculating contributions, clarifying insurance questions, and applying laws; promoting SBK and acquiring new customers; working independently within a team and helping shape improvements.

At least an intermediate secondary school qualification, university of applied sciences entrance qualification, or Abitur; business-fluent German for daily advising and documentation; university dropouts and career changers are welcome; empathy, strong communication skills, and sensitivity when dealing with people; ability to remain calm in stressful situations; interest in healthcare, business, and law; openness to digital developments and artificial intelligence; willingness to contribute ideas and help drive improvements.
