Sales Consultant - Billing Supplier

Schleupen is an innovative mid-sized software company with over 680 employees nationwide, supporting utility companies through the energy transition with commercial software solutions. As a Sales Consultant, you support sales in presales for the Billing Supplier product portfolio.

• You support sales in presales by presenting our standard products to existing and especially new customers
• You develop practical use cases in the demo environment and use them in presentations and customer meetings suited to the audience
• You write technical offer texts and the price lists used in the sales process for the Billing Supplier product portfolio
• You advise customers and internal contacts on scope of services, technical design and product-related questions
• You represent the product area at trade fairs, events and relevant industry events
• You contribute your expertise in regional working groups and expert committees
• You give expert talks and present current energy industry topics to customers and prospects
• You publish technical articles and support the professional positioning of the product area in the market

• Successfully completed further training as a Fachwirt for energy economics, a degree in energy economics or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience at a market participant in the energy industry, for example a supplier or distribution network operator.
• Sound knowledge of energy industry business processes with a focus on supplier billing.
• Good knowledge of market communication and the relevant regulatory framework.
• Understanding of technical interfaces and IT-supported processes.
• Strong communication skills and a confident, convincing manner with customers and business partners.
• Enjoyment of presentations, training sessions and talks, including in front of larger groups.
• Willingness to make occasional business trips across Germany.
