Mechanic / Mechanical Maintenance

MEG Löningen GmbH is hiring a mechanic to maintain automated systems and production equipment used to make mineral water and soft drinks. This permanent role starts immediately and involves 38 hours per week on a four-shift system.

• Look after, monitor and maintain automated systems and production equipment, and carry out upgrades across the site
• Carry out mechanical work such as setting up, modifying and dismantling equipment
• Analyse how systems work together and use testing and diagnostic tools as needed
• Analyse and fix problems in the production process before they cause further issues, helping maintain quality
• Record equipment condition in inspection reports
• Support production shifts by helping solve technical problems
• Take responsibility for your storage area, record parts taken out and report spare parts needs in good time

• Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic, maintenance mechanic, metalworker or similar
• Several years of maintenance experience, ideally in a production environment
• Sound knowledge of pneumatics, building systems, storage systems, turning, milling and welding
• Good German skills at C2 level, ideally advanced English skills, and basic computer and SAP skills
• A strong focus on quality and a trained eye for ways to improve technical systems
• Willingness to work in a four-shift system
