As an Electronics Technician for IT/IoT Systems in Building Technology (w/m/d), you ensure today what will be tomorrow's standard in smart and climate-friendly building systems. Because you are the interface between technology, electronics, and networked IT control – at companies directly on-site or remotely. During your apprenticeship, you will learn relevant programming languages, install software, and link them into intelligent infrastructure solutions. The apprenticeship also provides expertise in: Fire alarm and security technology; Control and measurement technology; Automation systems; Network technology; IT security. For example, you ensure that buildings are secured by smart video surveillance and access control systems and that fire is detected early by fire alarm systems. After completing the apprenticeship, your deployment opportunities are diverse: For instance, as a future specialist in building technology (w/m/d), you provide services for energy management solutions, configure smart devices for cloud-based systems in buildings, and put them into operation. As an Electronics Technician for IT/IoT Systems (w/m/d), you implement applications and smart solutions for the cities of the future. You will be on the move a lot, in customer-oriented contact on-site or via remote access. Duration of your training program: 3.5 years (42 months); Practical phases in our innovative company; Tailored internal Siemens training; Theoretical training takes place at the Werner Siemens School in Stuttgart and at the Siemens Professional Education (SPE) Training Center in Stuttgart. Note: Practical training takes place in Ulm, while theoretical training requires regular presence in Stuttgart.
