Apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering at the Regional Workshop, 2027

You will complete a 3.5-year apprenticeship as an electronics technician for industrial engineering at a maintenance workshop for regional trains. You will learn to understand electrical systems and electronic components in regional trains, analyze faults and maintain the technology reliably.

• Learn about electrical quantities such as voltage, current, resistance and power and understand how electrical systems work
• Work with colleagues to ensure that electronic components such as train doors and information displays function reliably
• Analyze faults in industrial electrical systems, identify causes and correct errors
• Continuously expand your knowledge and skills through modern technologies such as VR and AI
• Develop into a technical specialist for regional rail transport

• You have completed school or will complete it soon, and your school-leaving certificate is recognized in Germany
• Your German is at least at level B2
• You enjoy mathematics and physics, and are fascinated by new technologies
• You have practical skills and are interested in electronic components and technical problems
• You enjoy teamwork, take responsibility and are reliable
