Activity in emergency rescue primarily as vehicle driver on the ambulance. Deployment after qualification on the emergency physician response vehicle as driver. Assignment after qualification in alarm functions of fire protection as crew member, crew leader, operator of the rescue fire engine, turntable ladder, special vehicles. Varied deployment in operational and work service in a motivated and committed team. Participation in rescue service and fire service technical departments as well as projects of the department. Applicants must be civil servants of career group 1, 2nd entry level in the field of fire service, meeting the following requirements: passed career examination for career group 1, 2nd entry level in the fire service (formerly middle fire service) and successfully completed probationary period. Successfully completed training as a paramedic. Unrestricted health and personal suitability for the fire service including respiratory protection suitability according to G 26.3 principles. Unrestricted health and personal suitability for the rescue service. Valid driving license class C, preferably CE. Proof of mandatory continuing education. Willingness to undergo regular further training. Teamwork and social competence.

Subject to meeting civil service legal requirements, employment in a civil service relationship according to salary group A 9 LG 1.2 LBesG NRW is envisaged.
