Industrial Electrician

The city administration of Viersen is seeking an industrial electrician (m/f/d) in the Department of Municipal Operations, Division of City Streets, at the earliest possible date.

Independent execution of electrical work for municipal operations. Independent performance of tests according to DGUV Regulation 4. Maintenance and repair of traffic light systems. Maintenance, repair, and emptying of parking ticket machines. Installation of traffic counting devices. Installation, maintenance, and upkeep of traffic signs and traffic facilities. Winter road maintenance and general winter service work. Other tasks in the field of traffic engineering.

Completed vocational training as an electrical installer. Willingness to perform and resilience. Teamwork and cooperation skills. Flexibility. Willingness to work overtime and on-call duty. Willingness to take on additional tasks in the area of Viersen Municipal Operations. Possession of a class B driver's license. Willingness to extend driver's license. Sound IT skills in common software products (e.g., electrical testing software, Word, Excel). Desirable: Certificate of competence for forklifts/earthmoving machinery. Possession of a class CE driver's license.

Classification according to TVöD up to salary group 6 with credit for professional experience.
