The Viersen City Administration offers two apprenticeship positions as Gardener specializing in Garden and Landscape Construction in the Department of Urban Green and Forestry, starting 01.08.2027.

You bring: Initiative and teamwork skills; Enjoyment of hands-on, physically active work; Preference for working outdoors in nature; Reliability, care, and a friendly, committed demeanor. Apprenticeship prerequisites: At least an extended first school leaving certificate (formerly Hauptschulabschluss Type A - 10th grade); Medical fitness; Successful participation in the selection process; A current, unblemished certificate of good conduct (to be presented upon hiring).

Apprenticeship remuneration according to the applicable collective agreement (TVAöD): 1st year: €1,368.26 | 2nd year: €1,418.20 | 3rd year: €1,464.02 plus annual bonus; More time for you: 31 days of vacation per year plus days off on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve; Very good takeover and development opportunities, with classification in pay group EG 6 upon takeover after passing the final exam; €50 learning material allowance per apprenticeship year; Fixed contact persons and intensive supervision; €400 completion bonus and special leave for exam preparation; A crisis-proof and future-oriented apprenticeship position; Payment of capital-forming benefits and a company pension scheme; A meaningful job: You actively shape life in your city.
