Dual Study Program in Applied Computer Science / Software Engineering (B.Sc.)

A seven-semester dual study program alternating between theory and practice. You will learn to develop, analyze and deploy IT applications and work in a large team on TK's software, databases and web applications.

Learning the fundamentals of computer science and mathematics; working with a large Java application; designing and developing software, databases and web applications; seeing the results of your work in actual use; gaining in-depth theoretical and practical experience in software development.

Good to very good Abitur, ideally with mathematics or computer science as an advanced subject; enthusiasm for IT and healthcare; interest in hardware and initial experience with IT systems or programming; a structured and analytical approach to challenging tasks; enjoyment of teamwork; excellent German skills with a C1 certificate, both written and spoken.

35.5 hours per week; flexible working hours between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.; 30 days of vacation plus December 24 and 31 as non-working days; collectively agreed pay of €1,618.93 in the first year, €1,737.71 in the second, €1,872.15 in the third and €2,090.51 in the fourth year; Christmas bonus; capital-forming benefits; occupational pension plan; tuition fees covered; optional semester abroad in the fifth semester; home office; subsidy for the Deutschland job ticket; company sports programs.
