About this Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship at a toom DIY store: a two-year sales assistant programme or a three-year retail management programme. The team values respect, mutual appreciation and support. Training takes place during store opening hours.
What You'll Learn
- Work in different departments and be the first person customers turn to
- Give advice, know the products and have the right tools and materials ready
- Take responsibility for your own projects and contribute your ideas
- Attend apprentice seminars and specialist training to develop your skills and prepare for exams
- During the two-year sales assistant programme, learn customer service, product display, checkout tasks and daily store operations
- During the three-year retail management programme, also deepen your business knowledge, manage your own projects and develop your sales skills
Requirements
- Enjoy helping customers get what they need
- A friendly manner
- Openness and enjoyment of communicating with others
- A strong interest in the DIY store's products
- At least a Hauptschulabschluss school-leaving certificate
