Apprenticeship Retail Merchant / Sales Assistant - Garden Department

For the apprenticeship start on 01.08.2027, toom Baumarkt is looking for future toomworkers. You can choose the 2-year apprenticeship as a sales assistant or the 3-year apprenticeship as a retail merchant, both in the garden department. The training takes place within store opening hours.

• Get to know the different departments of the garden center, from houseplants and garden building materials to lawn mowers and grills
• Show responsibility in your own projects
• Develop through apprentice seminars and specialist training and prepare for the exam
• Sales assistant (2 years): learn everything about customer advice, product presentation, checkout work and the daily routine in the garden department
• Retail merchant (3 years): additionally deepen your knowledge of business topics, take responsibility in your own projects and grow into a sales professional
