Software Developer EUV

You are embedded in a major international project in the semiconductor industry. TRUMPF provides a high-performance CO2 laser source for the generation of EUV light by means of plasma processes.

• Independent conception, development and maintenance of the control system (IO, PLC, HMI) on an EtherCAT basis
• Definition of technical content, testing and validation in the lab and on the system
• Responsibility for the software development process as (sub-)project manager in close cross-divisional coordination with our customers and suppliers
• Support and management of internal and external project staff
• Close coordination with our customers and suppliers regarding requirements and technical implementation
• Application of the latest standards and international regulations

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or a comparable course of study
• Extensive professional experience in control and automation technology in a Beckhoff environment (TwinCAT)
• Experience in the use of AI-supported development tools, e.g. Claude, GitHub Copilot or comparable coding assistants
• Sound knowledge of at least one higher programming language (preferably C#) and object-oriented software development
• Very comprehensive knowledge and experience in PLC programming with TwinCAT3 and TwinSAFE
• Very good knowledge of fieldbus systems as well as sensor technology and standard interfaces
• Good experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, Azure DevOps
• Analytical skills and independent, systematic and efficient work
• Team player and strong communication skills in German and English
