Staff Product Development Engineering

As part of the ceramics lab team, you ensure the quality of our traditional ceramic products and help optimize processes, ensuring consistency and excellence in our worldwide manufacturing process.

• Quality assurance in the process: regular checks of raw materials, semi-finished products (such as slip and glazes) and finished products, and necessary corrections directly in the manufacturing and production process
• Digital documentation: precisely record and document all measurement results in digital systems
• Material production & innovation: produce important materials for production use (e.g. garnishing slip, cold/hot repair compounds, color glazes, C+) and support new developments and the optimization of existing recipes
• Analytics & network support: regular measurements (e.g. AK determination for D&L) and annual checks of bodies and glazes for the plants of our global industrial network
• Process improvement: work closely with the teams on root cause analyses and defining improvement measures when deviations occur in the manufacturing process

• Successfully completed training as a testing technologist (m/f/d), chemical laboratory technician (m/f/d) or comparable laboratory analytics training
• At least two years of practical experience in production or development departments of the ceramics industry
• Sound technical knowledge of characterization methods for ceramic raw materials, slip and glazes
• Confident German skills; good English skills are a big plus
