About this Apprenticeship
At Vossloh, you operate specialist wagons for loading, unloading and replacing long rails, and help maintain construction machinery. You work in a team on assignments across Germany and Europe, including nights, Sundays and public holidays.
What You'll Learn
- Operate specialist rail loading, unloading and replacement wagons, allowing rails up to 180 metres long to be loaded, unloaded or replaced directly in the track area.
- Help carry out repairs and maintenance on construction machinery.
- Work in a team on various site assignments across Germany and Europe, including nights, Sundays and public holidays.
Requirements
- Completed technical or industrial vocational training
- Knowledge of railway technology or rail processing is an advantage.
- Ideally, you are willing to undertake ongoing training in thermite welding (SKV), road-rail truck technology or operating railway traction vehicles.
- Team spirit, reliability and care
- Very good German language skills
- Category B driving licence
