Milling Machine Operator (Construction Equipment Operator/Track Builder)

Vossloh is looking for a machine operator for mobile rail milling machines in the machine team, with day and night shifts.

• You are part of our machine team and operate and/or maintain one of our mobile rail milling machines
• You accompany maintenance intervals and support our technical service
• In the day shift you carry out fault analyses and ensure machine availability by reconditioning the milling tools
• Checking and providing operating materials is also part of the day shift
• During milling operations in the night shift you operate the milling units, carry out measurements and evaluate them
• Compliance with all occupational safety measures on the track is paramount for you and the team

• Completed vocational training as construction equipment operator / electrician / mechatronics technician / locksmith / track builder (m/f/d) or comparable training
• At least one or more years of work experience – career changers are also possible
• Willingness to pursue further training, e.g. as eddy current tester / locomotive driver / shift supervisor (m/f/d)
• High readiness for assembly work across Germany and abroad
• Good German skills
• Driving licence class B, ideally truck (can also be acquired at the company)
