Claims Manager for Handling Claims in Technical Insurance

Württembergische Versicherung AG in Kornwestheim is looking for a claims manager (m/f/d) to handle claims in technical insurance, especially IT, data, business interruption and cyber claims.

• The main focus is handling claims in technical insurance, especially IT, data, business interruption and cyber claims.
• Actively steering and managing claims together with internal adjusters, external experts and network partners.
• Assessing the cause and amount of damage. Plausibility checks together with adjusters, experts and network partners.
• Responsibility for and handling of your own unit. Independent settlement of claims (no limit on claim amount). Cooperation with our sales partners, including our exclusive sales organisation, brokers and underwriting agents.
• Actively contributing to the development of products, internal projects and the expansion of network partners and experts, especially for cyber claims.

• You are open-minded, enjoy working independently and are willing to contribute your knowledge and actively shape projects.
• You are goal-oriented, decisive and outgoing, a team player (m/f/d), and enjoy working with internal and external partners.
• Our work begins and ends with the customer. You advise customers when a claim occurs, analyse and assess even complex cases and gladly support customer claims from notification to closure.
• You are interested in technical matters (focus on IT/electrical engineering) and have a good understanding of technical connections for handling damage to IT systems, data and software (e.g. due to malware, hacker attacks or other cyber incidents).
• You are a lawyer (m/f/d) or fully qualified lawyer (m/f/d) with a strong understanding of technical matters and sound legal knowledge of insurance law, or besides your interest in technical matters you have relevant professional experience handling claims in technical insurance, large liability and/or cyber claims.
• Ideally you also have basic business knowledge and knowledge of assessing and handling business interruption claims.
