Supplier Audit Specialist Food Industry

Zott, one of Europe's leading dairies, is looking for a supplier audit specialist at the earliest possible time, initially fixed-term for 2 years. You conduct supplier audits, further develop quality standards and ensure compliance with relevant requirements along the supply chain.

• Planning, organizing and conducting audits at national and international suppliers (6-8 audit days per month)
• Qualitative assessment, approval and requalification of suppliers
• Developing and improving supplier performance through targeted measures, projects and monitoring
• Maintaining and administering supplier information in line with internal standards and legal requirements
• Further developing existing audit processes, methods and quality standards
• Creating, analyzing and reporting audit-related KPIs
• Recording, handling and evaluating complaints and initiating suitable improvement measures
• Documenting audit results and following up agreed measures

• Successfully completed degree in food technology, food science, nutrition science, packaging technology or a comparable field
• Completed auditor training, ideally with relevant quality management certifications
• Several years of professional experience in quality management, supplier quality management or supplier management, preferably in the food or packaging industry
• Sound knowledge of audit management and relevant quality standards and legal requirements
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written; further foreign languages are an advantage
• High willingness to travel nationally and internationally
• Confident manner, strong communication skills and persuasiveness when dealing with suppliers
• Analytical thinking and a structured, independent and careful way of working
• Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork
