Cyber Security Systems Architect

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Cyber Security Systems Architect for the team in Donauwörth as soon as possible. In the avionics systems department you define and develop the cyber security component of the avionics architecture of civil and military helicopters, in coordination with the avionics architect.

• Formalising the integration of engineering cyber security processes into the overall engineering processes within the Airbus Helicopters process landscape (Process Landscape Platform) and ensuring synchronisation with the support processes
• Assessing the security risks of the helicopter configuration and defining the necessary security requirements for the embedded system, covering both functional and assurance aspects
• Monitoring the development of security functions according to their design assurance level
• Formalising the compliance demonstration for airworthiness requirements and contributing to the helicopter's security accreditation

• Completed bachelor's degree (aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or computer science) plus extensive experience and further training, or a doctorate following the degree
• Alternatively: completed master's degree (aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or computer science) plus extended experience and further training, or a doctorate following the degree
• At least 5 years of professional experience in embedded systems or cyber security, including solid experience in systems engineering
• Language skills: German and English at fluent negotiation level, French desirable
• Knowledge of aeronautical engineering standards (e.g. ARP 4754, ARP 4761, ED-202, ED-203)
• Ability to confidently master the functional specification of security mechanisms (authentication, access control, rights management, signature, firewall, encryption, segregation, intrusion detection)
