Apprenticeship as Insurance and Financial Investment Clerk, Internal Service (2027)

In the internal service apprenticeship at BarmeniaGothaer in Wuppertal you learn to process contracts and portfolios precisely, recognize needs and handle everyday service confidently. The apprenticeship lasts 3 years with the option to shorten it to 2.5 years. You get to know different departments and are supported by a team. Monthly training pay under the collective agreement from September 2026: 1,455 euros (year 1), 1,532 euros (year 2), 1,620 euros (year 3).

• At the Wuppertal site you complete your 3-year apprenticeship, with the option to shorten it to 2.5 years, in varied insurance areas.
• You learn to recognize customer needs precisely, create offers, assess risks and calculate insurance rates, settle insurance claims and communicate with customers and departments.
• Seminar offerings prepare you for the final exam.
• In good time before the final exam we plan your future in the group together.

• At least intermediate school certificate (Mittlere Reife), ideally (technical) Abitur, and the wish to start in practical work; dropouts from studies or other apprenticeships are welcome
• Enjoyment in advising people and showing them solutions
• Enthusiasm for digitalization topics and ease with modern digital tools
• Strong communication and very good expression
• Fun in pitching in as part of a friendly team
