Java Software Developer

The Bavarian Chamber of Pension Provision is seeking an experienced professional to further develop its Java-based core application Futura for contribution calculation and pension payments.

Further develop the Java-based core application Futura with an agile Kanban team. Analyze requirements from specialist departments and create technical implementation concepts. Implement and test software using Java, Maven, Gradle, JUnit, Spring Boot, Oracle, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Teamscale. Optimize and automate tasks throughout the development process.

Completed master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or business informatics, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience. Alternatively, completed IT vocational training with several years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of Java application development, practical experience with SQL and relational databases, analytical and independent working style, communication skills and committed teamwork.
