Intern Product Sustainability & Life Cycle Assessment

During your internship, you will contribute to the development of sustainable solutions and gain insights into the management of CO2e targets for our vehicle models.

• You support the Product Sustainability department with LCA methodology, CO2e modeling, and the management of the CO2e Product Carbon Footprint target.
• You also contribute to the analysis and implementation of measures to reduce CO2e in the supply chains of BMW Group models.
• Furthermore, you gain insights into CO2e assessment and the development of sustainable strategies for our products.
• In addition, you support the independent processing of tasks and receive regular feedback from your contact person.

• Studies in Sustainability Management, Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or comparable.
• Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office and experience in creating presentations.
• First practical or project experience in the field of LCA and handling of life cycle assessment databases desirable.
• First knowledge of VBA programming or database programming an advantage.
• Analytical thinking, quick comprehension, and high quality of work.
• Fluent German and good English skills.
