Health Insurance Specialist - Dental Area

As a specialist in the dental area, you work in a team of eight at the interface between IT and the operational units and help develop the benefits process in health insurance. By shaping reimbursement principles, quality assurance and process improvements, you create a smooth reimbursement experience for members.

• Developing and maintaining practical work instructions, efficient tools, programming specifications and training materials
• Processing submissions from the nationwide benefits centers
• Handling individual correspondence, e.g. complaints (BaFin and ombudsman) and phone calls with people involved in the process (policyholders, dentists, lawyers)
• Developing quality assurance measures and securing and improving processing standards
• Creating statistical analyses and assessing the effects on the benefits process
• Technical support in further developing IT systems (e.g. integrating artificial intelligence)

• Completed degree in healthcare or business administration, alternatively a completed apprenticeship as an insurance clerk
• Preferably professional experience in the benefits area of private or statutory health insurance, focus on dental treatment
• Structured way of thinking and working
• Very good written and spoken communication skills
• Independence and teamwork skills
