About this Apprenticeship
You work in a team of seventeen in the Sales Services department at Debeka, implementing new requirements for the current field service application.
What You'll Learn
- Help implement new requirements for Debeka's current field service application
- Develop ideas for implementing requirements, including their realization
- Evaluate alternative solution approaches
- Help create technical concepts and prototypes based on business requirements
- Work on departmental and cross-departmental IT projects and initiatives
- Model business processes (e.g. BPMN) considering constraints and implementation options
- Perform functional and integration tests
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in (business) informatics or information management, training as an IT specialist (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification through several years of work in IT
- Several years of professional experience in application development / programming
- Knowledge of designing and building complex fat-client applications and applying object-oriented design patterns, as well as software development methods in an object-oriented environment (analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment)
- The Smalltalk programming language is desirable.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and the ability to work conceptually and independently
- Team spirit, sense of responsibility and a good grasp of things
- Curiosity about new technologies and processes
