Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser

DEKRA is seeking a Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser to support clients through regional field visits. The role covers safe transport of dangerous goods, training and reporting.

• Support clients as an external Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser through regional field visits
• Use your expertise to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and keep dangerous goods transport safe
• Deliver dangerous goods training at client sites
• Prepare required documents, including monitoring and annual reports
• Maintain contact with clients and the relevant authorities

• Master craftsperson or technician qualification in a trade or industry, with at least two years of professional experience
• Further training as a Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser for road, rail, inland waterways and sea transport
• Training as an occupational safety specialist is desirable
• Confident use of MS Office
• Strong writing skills to produce clear and precise documentation and reports
• An independent, responsible, cooperative and service focused approach to work
• Category B driving licence and willingness to make local client visits
