About this Apprenticeship
The Health Protection department provides nationwide services in safety and health protection for many clients, including safety and health coordination on construction sites, fire protection consulting and advice on hazardous substances.
What You'll Learn
- You take care of construction projects in building construction, civil engineering and structural engineering according to § 3 BaustellV and RAB 30
- With your expertise you advise and support clients and specialist planners in identifying suitable measures to avoid work and health hazards
- You create the mandatory documentation required by BaustellV, consisting of advance notice, SiGe plan and documents for later work
- During construction you monitor compliance with safety and health measures through regular site inspections
- You maintain contact with occupational safety authorities and accident insurers and actively help acquire new orders and clients
Requirements
- University degree in civil engineering, architecture or a comparable field
- At least 2 years of professional experience in planning and/or executing construction projects required
- Knowledge of occupational safety per Annex B of RAB 30 – ideally training as a safety specialist – and special coordinator knowledge per Annex C of RAB 30
- Proficient use of MS Office
- English skills for communicating with business partners
- Strong expression to create meaningful and precise documentation and reports
- Independent, responsible and service-oriented way of working
- Class B driving license and willingness to work locally in the field
