DevOps Engineer (Hybrid Cloud Data Center Operations) –

As a DevOps Engineer (Hybrid Cloud Data Center), you are responsible for the integration and management of cloud and data center environments. You automate processes, coordinate collaboration with external providers, align orders and processes with them, and ensure smooth operations. You monitor performance, ensure hybrid architectures, and continuously optimize the infrastructure.

System Integration: You are responsible for the seamless integration and stable operation of hybrid infrastructures by linking cloud services and classic data center environments. Process Automation: You drive the consistent automation of our operational processes to sustainably increase efficiency and scalability. Provider Management: You take over the technical coordination and coordination with external service providers and ensure smooth cooperation. Monitoring: You are responsible for the continuous monitoring of performance and availability of our systems to ensure high-availability operations. Architecture Stability: You ensure the secure and stable operation of our hybrid cloud infrastructures through proactive management. Interface Optimization: In close cooperation with the cloud and data center teams, you optimize cross-functional processes and promote internal collaboration. Ensure 24/7 Operations: You support smooth IT operations through your active participation in on-call duty and necessary overtime assignments.

You have proven expertise in AWS cloud architectures, especially in interplay with hybrid environments and external data center operations. In practice, you bring deep knowledge of multi-account management and implementation of cross-account security concepts. Your technical profile is rounded off by solid experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform (IaC), and network connectivity via DirectConnect. Professional coordination with external provider teams regarding service changes, security requirements, and SLA management is familiar to you. Whether orally or in writing, you speak fluent German (C1) and have good English skills (B2). You easily grasp complex issues, analyze them, and independently derive concrete measures. Continuous learning is as natural to you as active knowledge transfer within your team and across departments. You place great value on appreciative communication and approach new challenges or changes with a proactive solution orientation.
