Regional Area Manager

For its Munich regional office, DEVK is looking for a regional area manager (m/f/d) with sound industry knowledge and leadership experience in insurance sales. As the link between the field sales management and the sales partners, you independently lead your regional area. The territory covers Bavarian Swabia and the Allgäu.

• Responsibility for sales and expansion results in the assigned regional area
• Leading and managing the agents in the assigned regional area
• Carrying out needs analyses at the agencies to determine support required
• Planning and deploying staff resources
• Recruiting and winning new agents
• Supporting sales-oriented training in the field service as well as selecting and quality-assuring training agencies
• Developing and implementing measures to reach sales targets
• Working with representatives and specialists in the regional office
• Creating and implementing regional advertising campaigns and competitions
• Ensuring cooperation with the Sparda banks and other cooperation partners

• Completed training as an insurance specialist (m/f/d) or as a clerk (m/f/d) for insurance and finance
• Sound expertise and professional experience in different areas of insurance sales
• Independent, self-reliant, structured way of working
• Assertiveness, diplomatic skill and confident negotiation
• High social competence and very good communication skills
• Good analytical and conceptual skills combined with strong goal and results orientation
• Confident use of MS Office applications
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Strong willingness to change and creativity
