About this Apprenticeship

Setting up and operating various machines and systems. Assembly, testing, and packaging of highly complex panic locks and safety and escape route technology. Ensuring on-time and quality-compliant production. Troubleshooting and fixing malfunctions on machines and systems. Fault finding, fault analysis, and professional repair of products. Eliminating disruptions in the process flow. Processing, adapting, and assembling components according to technical drawings and specifications. Conducting quality controls (factory own inspection) and documenting test results. Working according to lean principles. Cross-departmental thinking and acting. Supporting the further development and optimization of production processes.

Requirements

Successfully completed vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician (f/m/d) or equivalent.
Several years of professional experience in production at an industrial company.
Willingness to work shifts (two- or three-shift operation).
Independent and goal-oriented way of working, as well as openness to new challenges.
Team player.
High quality awareness and a careful and conscientious way of working.
Good understanding of lean management.
You enjoy contributing to continuous improvement processes at the Ennepetal plant.
