Your dual study program in Business Administration Retail Management at DHBW Heilbronn lasts six semesters and concludes with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In addition to fundamentals such as business administration, economics and mathematics, you will deal with retail marketing, digitalization in retail, as well as human resources management and leadership. Furthermore, you can deepen your knowledge through exciting elective subjects such as "Trends in Consumer Goods Retail" or "Opportunity and Risk Management in Consumer Goods Retail". In the practical phases at Marktkauf you will get to know the various areas of a market and can apply your theoretical knowledge directly in everyday work. This way you gain valuable experience, take on responsibility step by step and lay the foundation for your professional future in retail.

Get to know everyday market life: You learn the various areas of retail – from product presentation and customer advice to market organization and personnel management; Understand business administration: You deal with business processes, analyze key figures and learn the connections between market, logistics and administration; Shape the assortment: You gain insights into our diverse assortment, participate in assortment design and learn how sales-promoting measures are planned and implemented; Take responsibility: You contribute your own ideas, support organizational tasks and gain first leadership experience, e.g. during vacation replacements; Connect theory and practice: In the regular three-month alternation between DHBW Heilbronn and your Marktkauf market, you combine your theoretical knowledge with practical experience on site
