Apprenticeship as IT Specialist for Application Development or System Integration

You have your technical college entrance qualification and are looking for a job that suits you? Then train at RZF as an IT specialist for system integration or application development. This is a practice-oriented entry into the IT world where experienced colleagues will support you. The fields of application and opportunities after passing the exam are diverse and varied, from network technology to the construction and administration of IT systems and the development of new software products for the digital tax office. We look forward to accompanying you with great commitment and heart at the start of your professional life.

We train you over three years as an IT specialist. You can choose between the specialization in system integration, where you learn everything about networks, hardware and IT systems, and the specialization in application development, where you learn to develop software applications for the tax administration. The theoretical content of the apprenticeship is taught by the Adam-Josef-Cüppers Vocational College in Ratingen. You attend vocational school for two weeks at a time and can then put the acquired knowledge into practice. The practical part takes place in the first one and a half years at the IT training center of our cooperation partner IT.NRW. In the class group, all topics important for the final exam are deepened. Here you have plenty of room for discovery and experimentation. The second half of your apprenticeship is spent with us at RZF at the new Kaarst location. You will get to know your deployment team and can already take on independent tasks during your apprenticeship. This way you will help drive digitalization forward at an early stage.

• You have at least a technical college entrance qualification (Fachoberschulreife).
• You have an interest in mathematics and computer science.
• You pass our online aptitude test, in which we check both your mathematical skills and your German language skills.
• You also have a pronounced interest in IT systems, enjoy developing new ideas and trying out new IT techniques, and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
