Apprentice IT Specialist for Application Development

• You will get to know modern IT systems, including common standard solutions and special applications for the media industry
• Step by step, you will acquire methods to plan, implement, and verify IT projects with current technologies
• In the analysis and conception of internal requirements, you will find out which solutions are needed. You will then learn to implement these requirements into functioning applications through programming
• During your apprenticeship, you will rotate through various departments of FUNKE Technology and gain insights into different areas of responsibility. Later on, you will specialize in one area
• Seminars, joint projects, and excursions complement your practical apprenticeship and offer you the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and gain new perspectives

• You have a technical college entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife) or general university entrance qualification (Abitur)
• You find new technologies and software development exciting. You also enjoy working collaboratively on projects
• Logical thinking comes naturally to you – you also approach tasks and questions analytically and in a structured manner
• You are familiar with common application software and navigate digital environments well
• Initial programming experience is an advantage, but above all you bring curiosity and the willingness to learn new things
