About this Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship at BASF in Ludwigshafen, starting in 2027. You will learn how signals from production plants reach control screens and how automated plants are controlled. Training takes place in cooperation with BBS Technik I in Ludwigshafen.
What You'll Learn
- Set up complex computer controlled systems
- Analyse how system functions and processes work together
- Test automation systems
- Maintain and operate automated systems, hand them over to users and teach users how to operate them
- Install and connect electrical equipment
- Monitor systems and improve control loops
- Find and fix faults
Requirements
- At least a basic secondary school leaving certificate
- Reliable colour vision
- Interest in how devices work, physics and data processing
- A precise and analytical way of working
