About this Apprenticeship
Do you want to become an electrical engineering pro? At BASF you supply systems with power: installation, setup and programming are part of it, and when something fails you get the electronics running again. The training takes place at the chemical company in cooperation with BBS Technik I in Ludwigshafen.
What You'll Learn
- Mounting and installing cable routing systems, information and power lines including general supply lines
- Installing and setting up machines and drive systems
- Assembling and wiring switchgear and automation systems
- Programming and configuring systems
- Testing system functions and their safety devices
- Analyzing faults, taking immediate action and repairing systems
- Handing over systems and instructing users in their operation
Requirements
- At least a basic school leaving certificate (Berufsreife / Hauptschulabschluss)
- Reliable color vision
- Interest in technical and manual work as well as in physics, mathematics and computer science
- Precise and analytical way of working
