About this Apprenticeship
Permanent position in Hannover Rück's GIT-ES Identity & Access Management department in Hannover / Germany, starting as soon as possible. The team manages identity management solutions and platforms, develops access and permission concepts, and improves the IAM systems.
What You'll Learn
- Operate and further develop Active Directory and other identity and access management systems, such as Microsoft Identity Manager and Microsoft Entra ID
- Design, implement and document system changes, including security-related changes
- Administer the platforms and their interfaces and provide second- and third-level technical support
- Contribute to projects connecting new services to the IAM systems
- Advise business and project teams on developing application permission concepts
- Manage external IT service providers
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in systems integration and/or a degree in computer science or business information systems, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience managing Microsoft Windows Server (L2, L3), Active Directory environments and scripting with PowerShell
- Good knowledge of LDAP, Group Policy, Microsoft Entra ID, single sign-on solutions and current security standards
- Experience with the secure implementation and governance of AI agents and the use of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) is desirable
- Business-fluent German and English, combined with an enjoyment of communicating
- Strong technical understanding and a team-oriented approach to work
