During your apprenticeship you will learn how aircraft and their systems are inspected, maintained and repaired so that they function safely and reliably. You will among other things: Inspect, maintain and repair aircraft and aircraft components; Control and overhaul hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic systems; Analyze and rectify technical malfunctions; Replace components and carry out functional tests; Work directly on the aircraft or in specialized workshops. You have a secondary school diploma (Hauptschulabschluss), intermediate school diploma (Realschulabschluss), entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences (Fachhochschulreife), general university entrance qualification (Abitur) or a comparable qualification or will acquire it by the start of the apprenticeship; are interested in mathematics, English and natural sciences; bring technical understanding, manual dexterity and good spatial imagination; work carefully and responsibly; are eager to learn, committed and reliable; enjoy working in a team; have good German and English skills; are willing to work in shift service; have a class B driver's license or plan to acquire it by the end of the apprenticeship; meet the health requirements for the apprenticeship, including safe color vision
