Internship in Revenue Management

The Revenue Management department is responsible for the revenue optimization of flights to and from Munich. By analyzing key metrics, demand and revenue forecasts are created and control strategies are developed and implemented to achieve Lufthansa's economic goals. In cooperation with interfaces, we work on the optimal marketing of capacities.

• Taking part in creating and further developing cross-team reports as a basis for decisions on adjusting steering parameters
• Supporting the analysis of revenue figures and booking behavior to identify relevant trends and potential
• Contributing to the execution of Revenue Management projects
• Analyzing market data and deriving well-founded demand forecasts
• Creating meaningful presentations to prepare results and recommendations for action
• Learning practical skills with a focus on supporting the teams in day-to-day business and applying data-driven methods in Revenue Management

• At the time of the internship you are studying Economics, Business Informatics, Mathematics or a comparable degree program.
• Enrollment throughout the entire internship period (a current enrollment certificate and a written proof of mandatory internship must be attached to the application)
• Analytical and conceptual thinking and abstraction skills
• Proficient use of MS Office applications and advanced Excel skills
• Strong affinity for numbers
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate professionally
