About this Apprenticeship
As the largest provider in long-term care in Munich, we employ around 2,300 staff across the entire city. While many employers put appreciation, trust, and equality on their banners, we take a different path: we live these values – and hopefully soon together with YOU! More joy of life for older people! That's what we work for every day – throughout Munich. In our 10 nursing and care homes and 5 senior residences, as well as with comprehensive outpatient and semi-inpatient services, we provide competent and reliable care and support wherever needed. Around 3,000 seniors are at home with us – with or without care needs. It's important to us that they live as self-determined as possible. At the same time, we focus on proximity and continuity in care, which we continuously develop. We know what we do and keep our colleagues' backs free so the essential remains in focus: our residents.
What You'll Learn
Ensuring care and support standards as well as nursing expertise. Continuous quality assurance and optimization. Biography-oriented care process planning. Targeted participation in basic and treatment care. Personnel management, development, and shift planning. Transparent communication within the team and with other persons (e.g., case discussions, care visits, risk potential analyses, organization and participation in meetings, etc.). Contact person for residents and their relatives as well as persons involved in care and support. Management of the residential area (budget use and procurement, collection of relevant data, reporting, etc.).
Requirements
Completed training as a nursing specialist, health and nurse, (pediatric) nurse, geriatric nurse, or nursing professional. Experience in leading a ward or residential area. Currently ongoing or successfully completed qualification as responsible nursing specialist, ward management, or residential area management according to §71 SGB XI. Reliability and sense of responsibility. Structural and conceptual work approach. Interest in our diversity-sensitive care, particularly regarding sexual, gender, and (post-)migrant diversity as well as gender- and culture-sensitive awareness.
What We Offer
Performance-based and fair remuneration according to TVöD/TVöDplus, plus annual bonus and attractive Munich allowance. Fully employer-financed company pension scheme. Discounted Deutschlandticket Job. Subsidized, discounted meals through MÜNCHENSTIFT. Work-life balance through flexible working hours. Option to distribute total working hours over a 4-day week. Bike leasing, employee events, staff discounts, discounted offers in our (online) shopping portal, and many other corporate benefits. Exciting and varied environment – no two days are alike. A committed and motivated team that expects YOU and looks forward to YOU.
