Leadership training programme for school leavers at REWE Dortmund in Herten, covering sales, stock management and staff leadership in food retail.
What You'll Learn
- Advise customers and conduct sales conversations
- Determine stock requirements and order goods
- Store and check goods
- Develop and organise the product range
- Display products and carry out sales promotions
- Learn how to lead staff
- Plan staffing and prepare sales statistics, performance checks and accounts to monitor and manage store performance
Requirements
- Good Abitur or Fachabitur school qualifications
- Enthusiasm for food retail, ideally with some practical experience
- Interest in how businesses work
- Customer focus and enjoyment of working with people
- A confident and professional manner
- Assertiveness, teamwork and organisational skills
- Strong commitment and the ability to stay on top of things even under pressure
