About this Apprenticeship
REWE Dortmund SE & Co. KG offers an Abi program toward a management role as a retail business manager in Unna. The training can be shortened to 18 months with good performance. Work takes place in markets close to home (about 30 km radius).
What You'll Learn
- Conduct consulting and sales conversations
- Determine goods requirements and order goods
- Store and check goods
- Build and design the product range
- Present goods and carry out sales promotion measures
- Get introduced to staff management
- Carry out staff planning and create sales statistics, performance checks and accounts to monitor and manage the store's performance
Requirements
- Good Abitur or Fachabitur
- Enthusiasm for food retail, ideally first practical experience
- Interest in business management topics
- Customer orientation and enjoyment of working with people
- Confident and self-assured manner
- Assertiveness, teamwork and organizational talent
- High commitment and the ability to keep an overview even in stressful situations
