Human Resources Management Internship - HR

Internship at Schaeffler in Herzogenaurach, offering insight into different areas of a modern HR department through daily operational work. The position starts in early November 2026 and lasts four to six months. Proof of university enrolment during the internship is required.

• Support the operational HR department with all HR matters and daily administration, such as preparing contracts and supporting employees
• Support applicant management at the Herzogenaurach site, especially preparing for interviews and handling follow up work
• Help organise, support and follow up on the long service celebration and introduction event for new employees
• Learn how personnel measures are handled under the German Works Constitution Act, such as recruitment, transfers and changes to pay groups
• Communicate closely with applicants, employees, managers and the works council
• Help apply pay agreement rules in the HR department, such as processing requests for educational leave

• Proof of university enrolment during the internship
• Successful studies in business and economics, business law, business psychology or a related subject
• Some practical experience in human resources is an advantage
• Good MS Office skills
• A service focused approach and ability to work independently
• Organisational skills and enjoyment of challenging work with personal responsibility
• Strong communication and teamwork skills and a practical approach
• Very good German and good English skills
