Internship in Mechatronic Component Development for Electric Mobility

Six-month internship at Schaeffler in Herzogenaurach starting in June 2026. You will support project and team leaders in developing mechatronic components for electric mobility, improving processes, preparing documents and reporting.

• Support technical project managers throughout projects, from quotations through automotive development to the start of series production
• Support the project manager's daily operations and provide project support
• Help improve processes and contribute to continuous improvement
• Work with team and project leaders to achieve the required Automotive SPICE levels in the product development process
• Help prepare documents, work instructions and templates relevant to the product development process for the electrical and electronic research and development department
• Help team and project leaders prepare project and team reports
• Help the team leader prepare data for managing projects and teams, including budgets, quality levels and reporting
• Help implement and maintain internal reporting on key performance indicators

• Proof of university enrolment at the time of the internship
• Studying Economics, Business, Industrial Engineering or a comparable subject
• Confident use of MS Office; VBA skills are desirable
• Very good written and spoken German and English
• A high level of independence and initiative
• Commitment, independent working, strong organisational skills and a highly structured way of thinking
• A positive manner, enjoyment of meeting people and strong communication skills
