Two-year apprenticeship as a cook aboard the Mein Schiff fleet, rotating through various galley areas including restaurant kitchens, banquet kitchens and pastry. The program teaches recipe knowledge and expertise in the origin, preparation and storage of food, as well as the independent preparation of high-quality dishes and menus.

Rotate through the various galley areas; take on responsible tasks; acquire recipe knowledge and expertise in the origin, preparation and storage of food; prepare high-quality dishes and menus under guidance using ingredients from around the world.

At least 18 years old; enjoyment of working with people from different cultures; ability to work in a team and take on tasks independently and responsibly; good manners and a well-groomed appearance; good German and English skills.
